We provide technical assistance across the entire range of statistical processes and domains. We help to strengthen public sector institutions through the building up of their statistical as well as management capacity, we assist in developing and implementing methodological and functional standards in official statistics, we design, facilitate and implement statistical and managerial training programs and strategies and support the dialogue between the users and producers of statistics.

Accounting and Payroll assistant (m / w), part time

Your tasks
Accounting:
- Provide assistance and support to ensure that accounts are produced in an accurate and timely manner;
- Bookkeeping of transactions related to invoices and expenses, as well as monthly bank reconciliations;
- Ensure control and booking of travel-related expenses
- Maintain customer and supplier data updated in ERP system
- Set up supplier payments for approval
- Support the VAT and tax accounting process
- Support on quarterly financial reporting for management
HR / Payroll
- Support the monthly payroll management and assist in the processing of payslips;
- Maintain/update employee data in payroll system and in time management system;
- Handle administrative tasks in the example of new hires, exits, and other employee changes;
- Support communications with CCSS, ACD, etc.
- Ensure that local regulations and legislation, internal policies and procedures are applied;
Others
- Support implementation and rollout of ERP system
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree related to business administration and/or accountancy.
- Min 3 years of relevant professional experience;
- General knowledge of European and Luxembourg VAT;
- Knowledge of Luxembourg labour market laws;
- Knowledge of ERP (Sage BOB) and APSAL is a plus;
- Sound user knowledge of MS Office tools;
- Business fluent in English and French. Luxembourgish and German language skills would be an asset;
