‘Data uncertainties: their sources and consequences’ paper now available!
The first COMUNIKOS paper is now available under the Eurostat Statistical working papers series. The paper ‘Data uncertainties: their sources and consequences‘ seeks to encourage further work into the measurement and communication of data uncertainties, in general, and introduces the COMUNIKOS project of Eurostat.
The paper was produced by GOPA Luxembourg’s team of experts and researchers under the supervision of Eurostat.

COMUNIKOS (COMmunicating UNcertainty In Key Official Statistics) is an Eurostat research initiative by GOPA. The project aims to propose methods / metrics to present uncertainties in key official statistics, starting from a comprehensive review of the different sources, their impact on the disseminated data and their relevance for official statistics.
